Basic Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field in addition to +2 4 years of hands-on experience 5-7+ years of experience with Open Source (Community Edition) PostgreSQL 5+ years of experience in Relational Database Administration/Management Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux Excellent communication skills Required Skills : Expert level experience with Open Source (Community Edition) PostgreSQL Solid troubleshooting skills Demonstrated experience with automated methods and best practices for installation and configuration of PostgreSQL Community Edition Strong knowledge of the PostgreSQL architecture Documentation skills for creating and updating processes and procedures. Strong experience with monitoring tools and tuning procedures for PostgreSQL Community Edition Extensive experience with backup, recovery, and high availability for PostgreSQL Community Edition Expert level experience with shell scripting.
