Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Paramus, NJ (Onsite) Duration: 6+ MONTHS Visa Type: USC/GC Job Description:- Key Responsibilities: 1. On-Site Evaluations: Travel to remote sites to conduct comprehensive assessments of existing network infrastructure and associated processes. 2. Solution Design: Develop network solutions based on evaluation findings and align them with established standards and best practices. 3. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with leadership teams at remote sites to gain approval for proposed network designs and coordinate installation schedules. 4. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in various network technologies, including firewalls, routers, switches, virtualization, cloud platforms, and security frameworks. 5. Network Configuration: Configure and manage hardware and software components for LANs and WANs, ensuring optimal performance and security. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Certifications: Cisco CCNA certification (at a minimum). CCNP certification preferred. ITIL Foundation certification is a plus. Skills and Experience: Network routing and switching, Cisco ASA, FTD, FMC, IPS/IDS, wireless controller configurations and AP deployment best practices Working experience with DMVPN with zone based firewall deployments A good understanding of SD-WAN architectures with deployment experience a plus Expertise with IPv4 TCP/IP subnetting and understanding of IPv6 Rich experience designing and understanding Cisco network device configuration with working knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper, SonicWall, Palo Alto considered a plus Deep understanding of dynamic routing protocols particularly OSPF, EIGRP & BGP with working experience with route redistribution and performance routing Enterprise management suites including HPE insight, SCCM, SCOM, Nagios, and NetFlow with IPAM experience with Solarewinds a plus Control Network (SCADA) experience a plus Hands-on experience with network hardware and software. Strong knowledge of network security protocols and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
