Key skills are: Panorama, Azure Networking, Palo Alto and moving hosted Data Centers to the Cloud, so Azure is a strong must. Silver Peak experience (SDWAN), Aruba, Ruckus and Security Certification would be big bonus. Diagnose System Problems The Infrastructure Network Administrator monitors the performance of network to identify any issues. They routinely perform analysis and break/fix operations during normal IT Infrastructure operation, including on networks, firewalls, applications, and devices. Design Solutions When issues are identified, the Infrastructure Network Administrator works with the IT team and Client's vendors to determine the appropriate solution. The solution should solve the problem at hand as well as mitigate future issues. The Infrastructure Network Administrator will work closely with the Information Security team to ensure the plan is in accordance with security procedures. Implement Solutions Once a plan is formulated, Infrastructure Network Administrators either provide the plan to the IT team or work with the other organizational members to implement the necessary upgrades, patches or troubleshooting to solve the problem. They document the changes and follow all change management procedures. Communicate Issues and Changes Infrastructure Network Administrators are responsible for proactively communicating upcoming infrastructure changes to management, submit peer reviews, and work with the workforce to smooth transitions and decrease any negative impact on business. Identify Opportunities for Improvement The Infrastructure Network Administrator uses his/her up-to-date knowledge of IT infrastructure to identify opportunities to use emerging technologies to increase efficiency and flexibility. They may formulate improvement plans and present them to leadership. Candidate Attributes Minimum of 3 years general Infrastructure experience with a wide range of supporting all facets of technology infrastructure. In addition to these skills and personality traits, Client is seeking an Infrastructure Network Administrator candidate with the following skills. Experience with performing network infrastructure and system troubleshooting and issue resolution. Experience in Windows Server platforms particularly 2012 R2, 2016 - Standard and Enterprise versions. Intermediate working knowledge of network configurations including design and maintain Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks, knowledge, and experience with ground up network installation and setup including servers, routers, switches, access points and circuit configurations. Intermediate experience working with 3rd party network and hosting providers. Intermediate experience working with solution partners. Intermediate backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. Intermediate experience working with cloud servers and virtual environments. Intermediate working knowledge of Active Directory and domain services. Intermediate experience with remote management tools. Intermediate Project Management experience. Intermediate experience with physical installs and expansion of client facilities. Basic Voice over IP (VoIP) knowledge and experience including hosted and premise environments. Basic knowledge of web hosting and domain management. Comfortable offering up suggestions for continual process improvement. Offers hardware and software recommendations based on need with an eye towards the future growth of the organization.
