This is a critical role in understanding a customers needs and making sure we are meeting or exceeding those needs through digital touchpoints. You will work on the full design lifecycle: understanding both user and business needs, sketching and brainstorming solutions, wireframing and prototyping flows and then validating your solution with our users. You will turn long-term visions into detailed designs and then collaborate with product owners and engineers to see that they are built to your specifications. What Youll Do Drive creative and holistic design thinking across diverse product releases, web and mobile platforms, and devices. Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with cross-functional partners to efficiently implement user experiences that are customer-centric, cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed. Plan and track your UX projects and deliverables from inception to completion through iterative stages, optimizing for user experience quality and design productivity. Produce meaningful, comprehensive design solutions for information architecture, navigation, task flows, UI patterns and components, and all manner of interaction design specifications for enhancing ease of use for mobile and Web platforms. Apply strong foundational knowledge of visual design principles to your design solutions, working within the design system and brand guidelines. Participate in the planning of user research activities to inform your iterative design decisions via customer input as well as data analytics. Proactively participate in group design reviews to receive and share feedback and ensure high quality designs and great customer experience outcomes. Face some of your most challenging projects and bring new thinking to an industry that needs it desperately Practice a user-centered, insights-driven approach to product design Support larger digital product programs that will often span multiple squads and PMs owning both the short-term tactical need and the long-term vision Collaborate with a tight-knit product and engineering team that follows modern agile practices Express early/foundational design directions through user flows, sketches and wireframes Define detailed UI design through interactive prototypes, visual design mocks and design specifications Identify needs for customer research to support the design program and support those activities including surveys, usability tests and interviews. Support design cohesion across digital touchpoints by applying design principles and design systems to your work. Seek opportunities to evolve both to stay current with current trends.
