Hi, Please find job description below; Visa- GC, USC Only Must Have Banking domain experience. should have at least 10 years of experience in Java development Title- Sr. Java Developer Location- Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Mclean, Virginia. Duration- 6+ Months for C2H Interview Mode- Telephonic than webex As a Java Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level applications using Java, as well as designing and implementing efficient and scalable solutions. You should have at least 10 years of experience in Java development and be familiar with various Java frameworks and technologies. You should have hands-on experience on WebSphere Application Server systems in a mainframe environment. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications and RESTful web services. Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team. Design and implement complex software architectures aligned with business requirements. Ensure code quality and adherence to standards through reviews and feedback. Stay updated on new technologies and evaluate their potential adoption. Optimize system performance and ensure scalability. Work closely with other teams for successful project delivery. Identify and mitigate technical risks and troubleshoot complex issues. Drive the adoption of new methodologies and practices for enhanced productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs. Write high-quality, well-designed, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the application code or infrastructure. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in Java development, with experience in developing enterprise-level applications. Qualifications: Proficient in Java and its core concept with a good knowledge of its ecosystems, as well as experience with various Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts. Substantial hands-on experience performing WebSphere Application Server systems programming and configuration in a mainframe environment. including maintenance, installation, security configuration, continuous delivery and problem resolution. Strong knowledge on Kafka. Experience with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Redis, and Memory Cash) Have strong AWS hands-on experience. Familiar with various Architectural Patterns and Designs. Skill for writing reusable Java libraries. Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java. Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful. Experience with both external and embedded database. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes. Strong knowledge on Kubernetes. Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Familiarity with continuous integration. Familiarity with TDD model. Candidate should have great interpersonal skill and communication skill. Experience with agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues Please Make sure the person knows: 1. Strong experience With WebSphere. 2. WebSphere Mainframe Version is a preferred requirement not mandatory. 3. Has experience with migration from WebSphere to Apache Tomcat or WebLogic. 4. Has experience on Kafka skills. 5. 8 years with banking and AWS EXPERIENCE. 6. Familiar with various Architectural Patterns and Designs.
