Required Skills 5+ yrs. of experience in database design providing conceptual, logical, and physical data models including the development of entity-relationship diagrams. 5+ yrs. of experience with the IBM Infosphere Suite specifically Datastage. 3+ yrs. of experience with Snowflake Data warehouse to provide optimized ELT solutions and best practices for pipeline performance and SQL tuning Strong working knowledge of relational data marts using star schema design. Advanced understanding and experience working with enterprise ETL tools. Provide technical guidance to drive the design and delivery of the organization's data architecture and roadmap Responsible for optimizing and automating existing ETL/ELT processes, refactoring code, establishing standards, writing documentation, and partnering with IT and business Provide leadership in designing re-usable ETL/ELT framework with built in quality controls to ensure end-to-end data quality and reconciliation Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, and project management skills a must. Proficient in translating complex business requirements into technical specifications. Provide technical and strategic recommendations in addition to BI/EDW best practice methodologies and procedures. Ability to establish operational guidelines, design architectural frameworks, and develop implementation strategies agnostic of technical platform. Additional Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of and experience in the Healthcare industry a plus. Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with respect to documentation. Exceptional verbal and written communication competency. Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic aptitude. High capacity to manage multiple priorities. Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and ownership for task/project completion. Hadoop and/or Cloud computing experience is a plus. Experience working with team members to modify designs and models as necessary. Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner. Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team members. Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
