| Role: Senior Network Engineer Duration: 6 months ( with extension ) Location: Libertyville, IL (Must be local ) Interview: Video Industry: Credit Visa: USC, GC only Description: The Sr Network Engineer is responsible for analysis, troubleshooting, planning, implementations and management of all network and related systems. In addition, this position will research and recommend new technologies to enhance business processes. The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for providing a high level of technical and/or project management expertise to ensure network and telecommunications technology aids in the achievement of organizational goals and objectives. In this position, the incumbent evaluates data technologies as well as carrier services. This role plays an integral part in the development and implementation of systems, with significant exposure to users and interfaces regularly with outside vendors. This individual must possess strong project management skills and is able to maintain a high level of user trust and confidence. The Network Infrastructure Engineer Sr. must have a proven track record of working in a team environment and effectively interfacing with management. 7-10 years experience Data Network design experience in Routing and Switching Experienced with Layer 2/3 switches, Routers, VPN, Load Balancers, wireless, CSU/DSUs, Firewalls, Network management utilities and TCP/IP packet analysis Experienced with data and voice technologies/protocols such as TCP/IP, DSL, VPN, Ethernet, T1, T3, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, Fiber/Copper Cabling Knowledge of data networking including TCIP, UDP, RTP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP protocols Knowledge of Firewalls, Accelerators, Load Balancers, Routing and Switching at an advanced level. Ability to analyze, design and collaborate multiple layer network architectures. Knowledge of multiple networking protocols. Data Network Capacity Planning Proficient experience using MS office products Strong problem-solving skills Strong end user customer support Excellent Interpersonal skills Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills Desired Cisco and other related technical certifications AWS Cloud networking experience SD-WAN support and configuration -- Keywords: information technology green card microsoft Illinois South Dakota |
