Job Description:- Job Role:- Senior AWS Engineer Location :- Raritan, NJ (Onsite) Contract Must Have : redshift, RDS, SQL, Python, Aws administrator, You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions that drive our business operations. You will be responsible for the administration of AWS services, including Redshift and RDS, as well as leveraging your expertise in SQL, Python, and providing exceptional support to ensure the optimal performance and availability of our cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: AWS Administration: Manage and maintain AWS resources, including EC2 instances, VPCs, IAM policies, and security groups to ensure scalability, security, and performance. Redshift and RDS: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Amazon Redshift and Amazon RDS databases for efficient data processing and storage. SQL Expertise: Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance to support data-driven applications and analytics. Python Scripting: Create and maintain Python scripts and automation tools for AWS resource provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks. Infrastructure Support: Provide day-to-day operational support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution, ensuring high availability and reliability of AWS infrastructure. Cloud Security: Implement and manage security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring, to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance standards. Performance Optimization: Monitor AWS resources and databases for performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies for improved efficiency. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of AWS configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and data analysts, to address technical challenges and ensure seamless integration of AWS services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or Cloud Engineer. In-depth knowledge of Amazon Redshift and Amazon RDS. Proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization. Strong scripting skills in Python for automation tasks. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with AWS security best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
