JOB DESCRIPTION: JOB TITLE: QA Tester LOCATION: Maplewood, Minnesota-ONSITE WORK VISA: NO H1B,CPT, OPT Client: 3M Duration: 1 year+ potlight call notes: Use robots (they are not programming the robots) to make tools/products and getting to a point where they need more QA Building out qa process for products and should have additional work down the line Critical: New space, so need leadership skills Handle ambiguity Strategy Basically a lead, Coaching and working with existing people, possible changing the way they work c++, python, and other languages on realtime hardware and cloud components. Have practical experience with strategy and implementing/executing tests Hands dirty Broad need (technical and strategic) Work with cross functional teams Written test plans involving hardware is a plus Microcontrollers, PLCs, stepper, camera, motor, motion, machine may be good words to search for (does not have to be these exact words, he was just giving examples) Can they write robust test plans on a piece of paper Prefer local but will consider others Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and utilize software quality processes and standards for industrial hardware automation and robotics related products Develop test procedures and the automation of tests both internally and externally via a network of outside partners Work with many different members of the technology team to understand the entirety of the system to identify gaps within the QA processes to develop a strategy for implementation and to implement procedures and methodologies to enable the projects to transition to production/live environments Coordinate execution and continuous improvement of tests Drive proposal and implementation of QA processes that are currently not in place Work on advanced automation technologies new to the company and the marketplace Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to create software QA procedures and standards Develop document and maintain both manual and automated test procedures that will take place both internally and with external partners Creation and Implementation of automated test software in virtual environments and on physical industrial hardware Coordinate with other developers and engineers to implement realistic testing schedules Execute and optimize test procedure with a continuous improvement mindset Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent software education Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Python C or other languages Proven track record of learning and adapting to new technology Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines Self-motivated detail-oriented and organized Strong leadership networking and problem-solving skills Candidate should have a hands on self-starter orientation to their work have broad interests and willingness to explore new areas Minimal work direction needed highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group Thanks & Regards: GAURAV VISHWAKARMA IT Recruiter (Sibitalent Corp) Office 101 E.
