Title: Data Engineer Location : Remote Job Requirements: Build relationships with key business partners, deconstructing complex, ambiguous business problems into prioritized, outcome-based data and analytics initiatives. Coordinate alignment on KPI definitions and build executive-facing dashboards and reports to use for business-critical decision making. Work within the Enterprise Data team and partner with Engineering and Analyst teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of data sets and reporting. Partner with Data Engineering teams to develop pipelines, transformation, and data products for use in reporting and by other analytics teams across the company. Provide ad-hoc analyses and communication relevant to your initiatives and business stakeholders as required. Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems. Research and determine scope and complexity of issues so as to identify steps to fix issues. Determine root causes for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions. Relevant Experience: 5+ years of experience working in analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, or equivalent. Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify and analyze problems and potential improvements, and propose and implement solutions. Experience evaluating large data sets for accuracy and integrity. Expert SQL skills and working experience writing complex queries. Expert Knowledge of BI tool Tableau. Working knowledge of data warehouse such as Redshift, Snowflake or Big Query. Proven ability to create and develop good working relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals, coupled with the ability to gain commitment from others. Capable of working on own initiatives and as a part of a team.
