A simple regression rack exists today, but needs to be expanded to include all of the upcoming features of MoroccoB & C, Xavier Pro, MIX utilities, and coverage for common MIX modules. Running nightly regressions of platform and module specific code will allow for faster bug detection, detection of low frequency issues, and save DRI time in factory during bringup. In Scope Expand the existing regression/integration rack to include: All features of MoroccoB & C Testing of the MIX CLI Testing of the MIX RPCRelay Atlas plugin Addition of Xavier Pro Bring up a new rack which runs nightly tests across MIX build trains on 20 common MIX modules Perform first-line triage of errors that occur from nightly regression systems - propose fixes to bugs, or escalate to MIX FW team As bugs are found in regression, evaluate and add to regression and module unit tests as necessary Writing of documentation for new platform features and known issues covered by regression system Out of Scope MIX Module HW design Factory Station involvement Success Criteria/Definition of Done Expansion of existing MIX framework rack as listed above Create of MIX module regression rack with coverage for all module methods Able to debug issues reported during operation, promptly root cause and drive a resolution Technical Requirements 3+ years software experience with ObjectiveC & Python Experience working with Jenkins & Groovy Experience with pytest and Xctest Ability to read a schematic for HW connections Strong desire to dive deep into system level issues and drive problems to closure in a team-based environment with a proactive attitude Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Hands on experience with lab test equipment to debug difficult/intermittent hardware issues Keywords: cprogramm quality analyst |
