This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data mapping, data cleansing, and a strong ability to lead a team of data migration specialists. The Salesforce Data Migration Lead ensures data integrity, accuracy, and a seamless transition during the Salesforce implementation project. Responsibilities: 1. Data Migration Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy for Salesforce project, considering data mapping, data transformation, and data validation processes. 2. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance and support throughout the migration project lifecycle. 3. Data Mapping and Cleansing: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration requirements, map source data to Salesforce objects, and ensure data quality by identifying and addressing data inconsistencies. 4. Data Extraction and Transformation: Oversee the extraction of data from legacy systems, ensuring proper transformation to match Salesforce data structures and requirements. 5. Data Load: Manage the data loading process, utilizing Salesforce Data Loader or other appropriate tools, while maintaining data integrity and adherence to project timelines. 6. Data Validation: Implement rigorous validation processes to verify data accuracy and completeness before, during, and after migration. 7. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, including data mapping, transformation rules, and migration logs. 8. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address data migration issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve any data-related challenges. 9. Quality Assurance: Establish quality control procedures to monitor and verify the success of data migration activities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; or equivalent work experience 5+ years of experience in a data specialist position 3+ years experience delivering complex data management engagements, including all phases of the project life cycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go-live phases 2+ years of experience in leading data migration/transformation projects Experience driving the ETL support process and ensuring compliance of project standards and deliverables.
