You should be a technical contributor who will design, build and execute Offensive Security Operations. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives that improve the security posture of Kaseya. You will be responsible for executing Red Team activities, promote cybersecurity culture and mentor cybersecurity engineers. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced Offensive Security Engineer with a passion for security and strong leadership skills. This person must have effective communication, project management, and team management skills. An applicant will also show the ability to work autonomously, self-direct when needed, be ok with failing but failing forward, and finally show fortitude and grit. Prior experience as a senior penetration tester is required, the candidate must have experience and demonstrate capability in this domain. THE SCHEDULE: This position is 100% in our cutting-edge offices ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies. Promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices. Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members. Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals. Coordinate and participate in Red Team activities. Perform threat actor simulation as part of Red Team exercises. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for Red Team activites following industry frameworks. Maintain and develop engineering and security documentation. Offer remediation guidance to stakeholders for identified issues and serve as an escalation resource for engineering as they reduce issues. Work with stakeholders to refine the acceptance criteria of security objectives. Performs other security related duties as assigned. Assist management when required with non-technical activities. Limited travel may be required. GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Experience with Red Teamming methodologies and industry frameworks. Experience organizing Red Team scenario emulation. Great understanding of systems security, vulnerabilities and architecture. Good Understanding of Intrusion Detection and protection evasion. Experience with security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS). Excelent understanding of cybersecurity of windows infrastructure. Strong leadership skills to mentor junior team members and lead projects. Strong work ethic and an insatiable desire to learn. WHAT YOULL BRING: Prior experience as Senior Offensive Security Engineer Working understanding of modern security vulnerabilities and best practices. Strong understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Experience scripting and automating penetration tests. Understanding of EDR and MDR platforms. Working experience in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, EDRs, IDS/IPS systems and other security technologies. Experience on performing Red Team exercise in complex environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for documentation.
