Location: Lansing, MI 48933(Hybrid) Duration: 12 months Top Skill & Years of Experience Required: Technical Writing Skills 3-4 years Linux OS Knowledge 3-4 years Security Knowledge with Vulnerability Remediation skills - 3-4 years Position Description This position is responsible for providing technical support for COTS (Custom off the Shelf) packages implemented for the management agency of the department. They will perform system analyst assignments including but not limited to gathering requirements, planning, and analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintenance of complex client server and web-based applications. This employee may also troubleshoot and manage applications using the following tools: Linux OS Knowledge, MS SQL, Management Studio, Dynatrace, XML, Web Services, MS Power Apps, MS Power BI, MS Dynamics, Remedy, MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and other technical software as required. This position will be maintaining customer COTS/SAAS applications and should have extensive experience with networks, firewalls, network architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities and basic application Support. Knowledge of Linux OS, NIST security controls and various computer languages a plus. Prior experience with advanced Technical Writing, and Customer Service skills. The ability and drive to research and learn continuously with exceptional problem-solving skills is a MUST. Position location: Lansing: Hybrid schedule, 2 days a week in office REQUIRED.
