Cloud technologies (AWS) Security and Compliance Consultant Details: Criteria Consultant's Data Full Name Primary Phone Primary Email Education Salesforce Certification Link LinkedIn Profile US work authorization and expiration Expected pay rate on C2C Current Company Name Current location (City/State) Willing to relocate (yes/No) Availability to join new project/ Notice period Have you ever worked or interviewed for this client in the past If yes, as a consultant or as an employee Last 5 digits of Social Security Number Birth month and day (NOT YEAR) Title: Infrastructure/Operations Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA(Day 1 Onsite) Responsibilities: Participate in troubleshooting issues following established procedures, documenting problems, managing incidents (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc) Perform test deployments in NONPROD environments Triage issues and incidents and route them to an appropriate team member Act as second person (observer) in procedures requiring two-person control Review network ACL configurations and point out deficiencies using established procedures Monitor AWS resources usage using read-only tools and established procedures, report findings Work with other teams in Apple on scheduling and preparing key rotation procedures Review and validate BYOK onboarding documents completed by other teams and report findings Review team documentation and point out obsolete parts and areas in need of improvement Monitor backup jobs using logs and splunk queries Maintain equipment lists and elevation diagrams Infrastructure/Operations Engineer Requirements: Experience with Linux (any distro, but especially RHEL). Standard UNIX utilities and programs Experience with parsing and analyzing logs understanding of the operating system networking stack, TCP, ICMP and UDP, ACLs. IPv6 is a plus Conceptual understanding of multi-tiered and web-based information systems architecture basic troubleshooting skills Good communications and documentation skills Experience with monitoring tools such as icinga/nagios and log aggregation tools such as splunk Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) Experience around Security and Compliance is a plus Keywords: California |
