Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models to optimize data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring data quality and consistency. Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical proficiency in C++ and Python to implement data solutions and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Agile Methodologies: Work within an agile environment, specifically using Scrum methods, to collaborate with cross-functional teams, set priorities, and deliver solutions in a timely manner. DevOps Integration: Implement DevOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data pipelines, ensuring reliability and scalability. Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the integrity of data stored in the platform. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data pipelines, workflows, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong background in data pipeline development. Technical expertise in C++, Python, and DevOps tools. Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
