Position Overview: As an SAP S/4HANA Sourcing Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP S/4HANA system to support sourcing operations in the area indirect procurement. Your role involves configuring and maintaining sourcing modules, policy workflows, vendor management, integrating with accounts payable and invoice processing, ensuring 2-way and 3-way matching, reporting on sourcing compliance, and conducting spend analysis. You will act as a liaison between the procurement and IT departments, ensuring that the SAP S/4HANA system aligns with the organization's sourcing goals and policies. Position is expected to engage with business and analyze and delineate requirements, draft and review function specifications, configure SAP S4HANA systems for functional area, engage with development teams, plan and execute testing and eventually deploy and support the functionality in production. Key Responsibilities: Indirect and Direct Procurement: Collaborate with procurement teams to understand and gather requirements for both indirect and direct procurement processes. Configure SAP S/4HANA sourcing modules to support procurement operations, including requisitioning, sourcing, and contract management. Implement procurement policies and guidelines within the system. Policy Workflows: Define and configure workflow processes to enforce procurement policies and approval hierarchies. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Implement automated approval routing for purchase requests. Vendor Management: Configure and maintain vendor master data in SAP S/4HANA. Collaborate with vendor management teams to track vendor performance and compliance. Implement vendor evaluation and scoring mechanisms. Integration with Accounts Payable and Invoice Processing: Establish seamless integration between sourcing and accounts payable modules in SAP S/4HANA. Ensure smooth invoice processing, matching, and payment workflows. Implement automation for invoice approval and payment reconciliation. 2-Way and 3-Way Matching: Configure SAP S/4HANA to support 2-way and 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts. Monitor and resolve discrepancies in matching processes. Enhance accuracy in financial transactions. Sourcing Compliance Reporting: Develop and maintain compliance reporting mechanisms within SAP S/4HANA. Generate reports on procurement compliance, policy adherence, and savings achieved. Collaborate with audit and compliance teams as needed. Spend Analysis: Utilize SAP S/4HANA analytics tools to perform spend analysis. Identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier consolidation opportunities, and procurement trends. Provide insights for strategic sourcing decisions. End user engagement & Training Provide guidance and support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and facilitate training when necessary. required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Sourcing Analyst with a focus on SAP S/4HANA. In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA sourcing modules and relevant configuration skills. Experience with Divestiture, Merger and Acquisition Experience with Global rollouts Strong understanding of procurement policies, vendor management, and procurement compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge the gap between procurement and IT. Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.In this role, you will be instrumental in aligning the SAP S/4HANA system with the organization's sourcing processes, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. You will facilitate better decision-making by providing data-driven insights and enabling the procurement team to optimize vendor relationships and sourcing strategies.
