Full Job Description Attached State of Michigan CTO Enterprise Operations Center KS Title: Network Engineer Position Title: Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12 Short Description: Provide administrative, technical, programming and engineering support for single and multiple types of Local Area Network (LAN) deployments, Wide Area Network (WAN) topologies, Wireless & WIFI access connectivity, security systems, remote access systems, Voice over IP. Create and maintain accurate network and system documentation. Platforms consist of a diverse mixture of Cisco Switches, Routers & Wireless Access Points, Cisco and Checkpoint Firewalls, Cisco VPN Complete Description: Perform Tier 2 operational support for various NTSD network services. This can include: Cisco router and data switch configuration, installation, and support. Skills, Experience and Education: EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree Preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be familiar with some of tile as following: Cisco network equipment and 1OS, lOS XE, and Nexus configurations, Cisco 1PT, Cisco Wi-Fi, Checkpoint and Cisco Firewalls, F5 traffic managers and have knowledge of common enterprise networking protocols. Knowledge must be specific to an Ethernet network with router, switch, VPN, and firewall components. Certifications from Cisco and Checkpoint are highly desirable.
