Description Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Execute Change Management process, including application installations, upgrades and break-fix Execute and document Disaster Recovery failover tests of all applications within the scope of responsibility at 6-12 month intervals Provide Linux Mid-Tier server administration and support for various applications Complete regular performance monitoring and trend analysis of database and mid-tier servers Development and support for technology applications and tools utilized to carry out job functions (automation of repeating technical tasks) Create processes, procedures and metrics for excellent service delivery Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training Linux/Unix system administration and engineering skills ( deep understanding of Operating systems - rhel7,rhel8 Experience with storage technologies (SAN and NAS) Experience with network technologies (firewall, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS) Knowledge of server operating systems, Kubernetes, RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x or Solaris 10/11 Knowledge of application and web servers (e.g., IBM Web Application Server, IBM Internet Hosting Server and Apache Tomcat Server) Knowledge of SSL technologies Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, MYSQL, Oracle, postgres) Knowledge of system monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, AppDynamics, Nagios) Knowledge of Log Analytic tools (Splunk, Elk, MoogSoft) Knowledge of Scripting languages (Shell, Jython, Groovy & PERL) Knowledge of Cloud foundry technologies Knowledge of server virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Server, Citrix XenApp Server, Microsoft Hyper-V) Experience with Microsoft AD or Ping LDAP Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/certification 2 years of experience working as software engineer Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds Familiarity with NIST Special Publications (e.g. 800-171,800-53, CSF) Thanks & Regards Ashish Kumar Senior technical recruiter Direct- 9734885943 3B Staffing LLC Email: [email protected] One Gateway Center, STE 2600, Newark, NJ 07102 www.3bstaffing.com Keywords: active directory New Jersey |
