| Role: Senior QA Engineer / Lead QA Engineer Experience: 9 Years Location: Norfolk, VA (Hybrid/onsite) Contract Duration: 6+ Months Job Description Extensive experience with Healthcare claims data and creation of claim test files in HIPAA X12 EDI 837, 834 & 835 Fully knowledgeable in 837 Loops and Segments Proficient at creating test data including functional unit test cases, positive, negative, and edge test cases. Good knowledge in Test data identification and gathering. Review capability requirement and coordinate with PO/BA and Identify manual test cases Writes, designs, and executes manual and automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. Maximizes test coverage for the most critical features of the system. Determines the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios. Logs and document defects in the tracking system. Identify key test cases for the continuous integration testing Conducts exploratory testing when required to understand how functionality manifests itself to the customer. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: Programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Java, JavaScript , Python strongly preferred. Strong analytical skills to examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests and streamline application functions through automated testing processes strongly preferred. Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors preferred. Experience testing web and CRM applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems preferred. Experience with defect tracking and task creation tools such as JIRA preferred. 5 years automation experience preferred. Experience in healthcare and specifically with claims processing preferred. Experience in Pega and workflow management preferred. Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore model preferred. Experience with Agile methodology preferred. Nice to have: Automation testing tools experience with Selenium, Node.js preferred. Tableau reports automation including dashboards and database platform experience preferred. API testing tools experience and strong coding skills to create tests using REST Assured, Rest Sharp, JMeter, etc. preferred. Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bit bucket, GitHub preferred.
