Current Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin Certification. Current Splunk Certified Developer Certification. Must have experience with onboarding data into Splunk through Syslog and Rsyslog. Must have experience with Rsyslog configurations and troubleshooting data ingestion issues. Must have experience with configuring Splunk SmartStore. Must have experience with Splunk muti-site indexer cluster and search head cluster. Must have extensive programming experience in popular scripting languages that are used for Splunk dashboarding. Experience with splunk enterprise security is plus. Strong understanding of UNIX operating systems Prefer Linux and Linux Administration, Windows is a plus. Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience. Personal Skills: Comfortable in stepping out of the comfort zone to suggest, test, implement new technologies and frameworks. Responsible for understating and troubleshooting our client issues related to Splunk. Responsible for building Splunk dashboards, monitors and alerts. Understands the current Splunk AWS infrastructure, makes necessary recommendations for improvements, and implements those changes. Working collaboratively toward a shared vision and culture.
