From: Raj Khan, convextech.com [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi, Hope you are doing good.!! Please let me know if you are interested in the below position.!! Position: ServiceNow Developer Location: Local to Denver or Minneapolis is preferred 3x per week Duration: 12-month contract, potential to convert next year. Visa: /USC/GC Only Interview: Phone / video Job Description: Please look for senior candidates!! Overview: At Xcel we have ServiceNow options that most large orgs have. We are looking at a lot of automation type things. This person will be working in multiple areas/modules of the ServiceNow platform. Day to day: Team (10 total: Client, Devs, principal engineer, and some networking) will work closely with a process team (8-10 people that define best practices). This team is built to support the process team. We have an operations team that executes that. This person will work cross functionally to confirm requirements, push for testing, work with stakeholders, etc.. We work in Agile, so we have sprint ceremonies and planning, grooming sessions, daily stand ups. No tech writing or process documentation in this role. This person will support internal stakeholders and functionality. This is a collaborative role but also an individual contributor role. There is a little business stakeholder interfacing, so it would be great if someone can speak business languages with stakeholders but then also be a good developer. People bring business problems to us, we purpose a solution, so they need to have the comm skills to relay this solution to the stakeholders. What makes this exciting for a candidate: We have only been living on ServiceNow for 2 years, but we have developed things at a fast pace. Good opportunity for someone who likes to work on a variety of projects and problems. Things aren't just checking the box, add a button, etc... today you could be in change, tomorrow in incident, and then the next day you'd take on a large project. Training: First 2 weeks - compliance training, learning how team operates Next 2 - getting into the platform, doing some dev work, seeing how this person functions. Work on this...but before we sent to production or commit anything, let's review it. They should be functioning independently after a month. Top Skills ServiceNow Development Experience with ServiceNow Automation Personality - natural curiosity to jump in and figure things out. (doesn't want to see someone who just wants to write lines of code) 5-7+ years of experience Tech Skills ServiceNow Development Basic scripting (JavaScript, html, PowerShell) experience with infra - hardware, servers, databases, etc... Industry doesn't matter. Certifications: CSM or ServiceNow certifications are nice to have, not required Prescreen Questions - these should be clear on the resume Years of Service Now Development Any project management experience Interviews: Starting in the middle of the first week of October and into the week after. Wants someone to start ASAP. One round of interview Best Regards Md. Raj khan US IT Recruiter ConvexTech Inc. Email: [email protected] Keywords: information technology green card Maryland |
