Role: MDM Practice Lead Duration: 6-12+ Months Location: Remote - Occasional onsite in Boston, MA Master Data Management Practice Lead Job Description We are looking for a Corporate Master Data Management Practice Lead to design, develop and implement Governance and Management of Master Data involving approval workflow and policy that will meet business needs and to support the Oracle ERP Cloud implementation, and to design a sustainable Master Data Management Strategy. The Master Data Management Practice Leads responsibilities include analyzing requirements and functional specifications, utilizing Oracle Master Data Management tools and coordinate with business users to design efficient and executable data conversion and maintenance solutions. The solution should provide roadmaps for the organization to transform from current Master Data system to future state system architecture. The solution should also consider continuous support to the business process. This role should also be able to regularly update the PMO on any systems architecture design suggestions and/or concerns. To be successful as a Practice Lead, you should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the business process and systems architecture. An outstanding Practice Lead should be able to explain complex problems to management in laymans terms. Master Data Management Practice Lead Responsibilities: Building a Master Data Management Governance strategy for all related information systems and business process to meet the companys needs. Assessing the process currently in place and working with business/technical team to design a road map that leads to future state architecture, which includes solutions for interim transition period. Supporting Data Conversion and Migration. Providing supervision and guidance to technical design relating to Master Data Management. Continually researching current and emerging methodology and tools to propose changes where needed. Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current Master Data Management Strategy. Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. Providing updates to stakeholders on Master Data Management processes, costs, and budgets. Master Data Management Practice Lead Requirements: Bachelors degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field. Proven experience in Master Data Management/Governance architecture and strategy design. At least 10 previous project involving Oracle ERP Cloud/Oracle Fusion ERP Data Conversion and Master Data Architecture design experience In-depth understanding of Customer/Supplier/Item Master in ERP systems. CDM implementation experience would be strongly preferred. Efficient communication skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills.
