Please share suitable profile Role : GIS Developer/ GIS Analyst Visa : USC/ GC/ GC EAD/H4 EAD/H1b MOI : Skype Duration : 12 months Need LinkedIn* Client Location: San Ramon, CA Local candidates (near San Ramon or in the Bay Area) preferred- Must be prepared for onsite work during the initial 2 weeks of the project before transitioning into a hybrid work schedule (3x a week onsite). Other locations: Candidates living in Southern California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Colorado, and District of Columbia must come onsite for the first 2 weeks of the project before transitioning into a Remote work schedule. and later on when requested by the client(or the manager) for any team in-person sessions/meetings then those days they are expected to come to the office site (as per business needs). Travelling & Accommodation Expenses will be taken care of. They should also be ready to work in the Pacific Time zone hours. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain GIS applications using ArcGIS technologies. Design and implement GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand geospatial requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Integrate geospatial data with other systems and databases to provide comprehensive solutions. Create custom geospatial tools and workflows to enhance data analysis and visualization. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS applications, databases, and data layers. Perform data analysis and spatial modeling to support decision-making processes. Develop and maintain geospatial web services for data dissemination. Keep up to date with emerging GIS trends, technologies, and best practices. Support GIS data collection, conversion, and validation processes. Collaborate with GIS analysts, cartographers, and other team members to ensure seamless data integration and application development. Document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures for GIS applications and solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Geography, or related field. Proven work experience as a GIS Developer with a focus on ArcGIS technologies. Proficiency in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online. Experience with ArcGIS Field map and Survey 123 - MUST HAVE Programming experience to integrate ArcGIS with other intake tools like Survey 123 or others. Strong understanding of spatial data concepts, GIS principles, and spatial analysis techniques. Experience with GIS programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or .NET. Familiarity with GIS database management and database design principles. Knowledge of geospatial web services and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP).
