Kindly go through the below job description and share me your consultants updated profile: Job Description Title: Database Administrator (SNOWFLAKE & ADABAS) MOI: Skype Location: onsite to Tallahassee, Florida We are recruiting for an ONSITE Certified Database Administrator (SNOWFLAKE & ADABAS) for our client, The State of Florida Government in Tallahassee, Florida. This position is for a minimum of 1-yer, but with outstanding performance by the consultant it can be extended to 4-years Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or five (5) years equivalent work experience. Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with technical and Department staff. A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with Adabas and Software AG products in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration in a multiple platform environment. Experience supporting development, testing and troubleshooting activities of Natural / ADABAS developers. Experience managing and maintaining all production and non-production databases. Experience having the responsibility for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. Experience performing backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, configuring database parameters, and prototyping designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. Experience optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. Thanks and Regards.
