Position : MDM/EDL Technical Lead Location : Remote Duration : Long Term Mode of Interview : Telephonic/Video Job Description : The MDM/EDL Technical Lead shall oversee and manage the entire functional implementation of MDM and EDL activities for the task order, and shall coordinate the activities of multiple developers, architects and analysts to ensure the on-time delivery of each consumer and contributor. This senior level technical position has primary responsibility for delivering the strategic Enterprise Data Lake and warehouse resources and data sets required for enterprise-wide operational and predictive analytics and will lead the design of data schemas, drive cloud data lake platform architectural decisions and development standards. This will include deep knowledge and experience in data management, including data ingestion, storage, metadata, data quality and data lineage for an extensible federated virtual data lake. This individual will lead the creation of scalable data lake and reporting solutions which meet the business needs of the EDL consumers and contributors. This individual requires strong problem-solving skills and a drive to continue learning as technology and desired outcomes change. They should have demonstrated experience in the development of extracts, transforms, and loads with a variety data sources including, Cloud Computing, Spark, S3, DynamoDB, RDS and other modern cloud technologies and cloud warehouse databases. They should also have significant experience in data migration, using data cataloging, and data protection tools and can actively contribute towards data migration tasks.
