Please find the attached Job Description Title: UX Researcher Location: NEW YORK CITY Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite Duration: 12-month contract ONLY. ONLY LCOAL TO NEW YORK ONLY GC & USC Overview We design for two key user bases: our clients, and in-house Financial Advisors, whose job is to guide clients through financial milestones big and small. Manage both large and small research initiatives end-to-end in an Agile environment. Partner with Product Management, Product Design, Data and analytics, and Technology teams to define research questions and goals, conduct appropriate studies, analyze the findings, and communicate results with clear and compelling presentations. Planned, designed, and conducted qualitative user research studies (e.g., writing moderator's guides, conducting in-depth interviews, moderated and unmoderated sessions, etc.). *Be willing to take on any task or responsibility, big or small, that furthers the growth of the team. Help to adapt and innovate research practices to meet a rapidly growing team's needs. Help to identify opportunities for impactful UX research across the firm. Help promote a data-driven culture that prioritizes user insights and combats assumptions. Thrive in a work culture that is full of collaboration, teamwork, inclusiveness, and warmth. Qualifications Skills You'll Bring 3-5 years of UX research experience. Willingness to run studies from end-to-end (you'll be responsible for every single step, from recruiting participants to sharing insights). Experience implementing a range of methodologies, both qualitative (e.g., moderated, unmoderated, etc.) and quantitative (e.g., A/B or multivariate testing, card sorting, survey design, etc.) A persuasive and compelling presentation style and ability to clearly communicate research insights. Familiarity with tools like Figma, UserZoom, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Usability Hub, and Enjoy HQ preferred. Experience in financial services, or a large corporate environment is preferred.
