JOB TITLE: senior Financial Business Analyst (Need 12+ years experience) LOCATION: Austin, TX (Candidates selected for this opportunity are required to physically attend meetings in Austin, TX, with possible minimal notice.) DURATION: Long-term Advanced Excel skills and specific experience with using formulas such as the INDIRECT, SUMPRODUCT, SUMIFS; and advanced use of pivot tables Translate business needs to technical specifications Developing, building, and deploying databases and data analytics platforms Transitioning financial and operational management data and reports from Excel to PowerBI Writing queries; and integrating Power BI reports into other applications as needed XML Transform experience, including document type definitions, Schema Experience extracting and analyzing data from large, complex applications Strong experience developing financial models that gather and consolidate data Technical and business analyst experience, including development of data dictionaries and working with staff to create and implement procedures Strong experience in data visualization, building reports, dashboards, and creating KPI scorecards using using next-generations BI solutions such as Power BI, Power Pivot (or similar), SQL and Tableau Experience with Federal, State, or Local government data reporting; with strong understanding of state government.
