Role : NJLegSvcs Senior Consultant - Wordpress Location : Remote Duration : 6 months Job Description: Full-time professional work experience in Information Technology. The NJ Office of Legislative Services is seeking a Wordpress upgrade for 5 sites. State of NJ - Office of Legislative Services has a long term engagement for someone to upgrade Wordpress to the latest version (v6.0). Will require strong knowledge of PHP scripts and security related to plug-ins. Candidate should have had extensive experience upgrading Wordpress and upgrading PHP to current version 7.4. Will function independently and will need to be able to interact with client stakeholders and work remotely. There will be 5 departments where there will be upgrades. Contractor will need to develop standard process with the initial department and replicate through all others. Must have a bias toward plug-in security while allowing the application to maintain features/functionality. Should also have experience creating or identifying alternative plug ins if old plug ins are no longer functional/viable.
