There is a mandatory (new) U.S. government clearance (Public Trust) in this role. The clearance takes 3-4 weeks to generate results before starting remote position. Job Description: We are looking for qualified, Developers to code functional programs and applications developed for a Federal Healthcare Solution. The developer will have the ability to work with other developers in a team consisting of 3-4 team members, have an expertise in JavaScript based frameworks such as Node.JS, and Python along with a strong background working with AWS native services such as CloudWatch and Timestream. We expect the successful candidate to invest a good portion of their time close to the technology in coding and developing software. Requirements: At least 4 years of experience developing consumer-facing web applications, services, and APIs. Must have working Experience with AWS EC2, Elastic Container Service (ECS), S3 At least 3 years of solid experience building backend microservices using Node.js. Must have 3+ years of experience scripting with Python, Lambda Experience implementing Rest APIs Hands-on experience with Docker in daily development usage would be preferable. Experience with version control tools specifically Git and GitHub Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration with Jenkins and Continuous Deployment with CloudFormation (nice to have) Experience working with and coordinating with other team members using Slack. Experience working in team environments that use Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe Working Experience with AWS CloudWatch would be nice to have. Working Experience with AWS Timestream would be nice to have. Experience with API Integration with Cloud/SAS products would be nice to have. Dynamo DB experience would be preferable. Bachelor's Degree or relative experience Responsibilities: We expect the successful candidate to invest a good portion of their time close to technology, coding, and developing software. They will also closely collaborate with other developers, UX designers, DevOps engineers, analysts, and architects with a focus on integrating components to support new feature development. Contributes to defining and estimating timelines, and feasibility for application development projects. Provides proof-of-concept or minimally viable product prototypes that set examples regarding new technology or design patterns. Periodically reviews code from scrum development teams. Partners with the team for design and review of products with respect to adherence to standards, enterprise models, strategies, and best practices. Enables and drives development of microservices and containerized solutions. Promotes and drives use of Agile and DevOps methodologies and patterns including continuous integration, continuous testing, test-driven development, continuous delivery, etc. Skills: Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate concepts and ideas through verbal, written and illustrative means. Team player, able to work both in a team as well as independently when required. Creative thinker and reasoned decision maker; able to logically assimilate and process complex business requirements into cohesive software components and designs. Ability to elaborate and collaborate on ideas, working with numerous stakeholders to derive a clear and successful outcome. Tenacious with an ability to drive the work through to conclusion.
