The ideal candidate will have started their career as a Linux Engineer or Administrator and transitioned into DevOps, accumulating at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at [Your Company Name], you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps infrastructure and processes to ensure the continuous delivery and reliability of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Linux Expertise: Utilize your deep knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems to maintain, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and environments. DevOps Tools: Implement and manage a wide range of DevOps tools and technologies to automate, streamline, and improve our software development and deployment pipelines. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable delivery of software updates and releases. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Monitoring and Alerts: Set up monitoring systems and create alerts to proactively identify and address performance and security issues. Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure and applications. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to improve and optimize the development and deployment processes. Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures. Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to the DevOps environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Linux Engineer or Administrator. At least 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, including CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code. Proficiency with Linux distributions (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat). Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby). Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
