Hybrid; 70% onsite. Local candidates required to be onsite and work at Kecks facilities as needed Must have: 5+ years hands-on experience in the design, installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-protocol networks Active certifications such as CCNA and/or CCNP Large enterprise experience with a significantly complex multisite infrastructure, hospital experience preferred Firsthand experience in configuration and administration of routing and security protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPSec, SSL, etc.) Experience with design, implementation and support of the following: Cisco and Juniper switches and routers Cisco, Palo Alto, and Juniper firewalls Cisco wireless controllers and access points; Cisco Prime PLUS: Load balancers, Netscaler a plus. ForeScout CounterACT a plus. JOB DESCRIPTION: Monitors and analyzes the availability and performance of the network, ensuring that it is maintained to the highest standards Recommends and implements solutions for network systems including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, and other network systems and services Responsible for the resolution of complex network problems; performs as an escalation resource for more junior engineers and other teams; escalates to more senior engineers and/or vendors as needed for prompt problem resolution Participates in incident management, asset management, change management, project management, and root cause analysis documentation and remediation.
