Job Title : AWS/GCP Platform Engineer Lead Location: Pleasanton CA (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months Candidate should be in MST or PST time zone as they need to go to Pleasanton CA for 2 days a week work . Skills: Kubernates, K8, microservices, AWS, Azure AWS Requirements Responsible for building, improving and running an enterprise grade platform supporting mission critical applications on AWS (or any public cloud) Evolve platform capabilities to achieve improvement in resilience, scalability, security, observability and developer velocity Configure and implement CI/CD pipelines using industry standard tooling Partner with engineering and security teams to develop and execute platform roadmap. Strong architecture and design instincts/experience to shape the platform roadmap. Communicate the platform capabilities to a cross functional audience and enable sustained adoption of new features Stay abreast with technology developments and adopt relevant improvements to RH platform Respond to key platform operational issues impacting business continuity with a bias towards recovery. Qualifications 7+ years of experience working in a platform engineering role contributing to platform road map development, implementation and operation Experience with container management and onboarding container-based applications to K8 Hands on experience implementing micro services using Java Springboot framework Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment velocity and security.
