Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and tools, along with the ability to seamlessly integrate notifications using the Slack API. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing our development and operations workflows by optimizing efficiency, reliability, and collaboration. Responsibilities: Must have: Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes, including build, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Expertly integrate notifications and alerts with the Slack API to enable real-time communication and collaboration across teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of code changes, infrastructure updates, and automated testing. Integrate and configure tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI, or GitLab CI/CD to automate and orchestrate the software development lifecycle. Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to build and manage microservices-based applications. Design and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve operational issues. Application devops - good with config and package management. Someone who understands Artifact image management, releases in a SaaS environment. Slack integration is nice to have. That would be ideal GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Kubernetes, Helm, Customize, Branching and releases, Package and config management In SaaS environments Ytt, Carvel is a huge plus. Read 1:40 PM Good to have: o Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to achieve consistent and scalable infrastructure deployments. o Optimize and enhance existing deployment processes, monitoring tools, and system configurations to ensure high availability, performance, and security. o Leverage scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate manual tasks and create custom tooling as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably with at least [X years] of experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes. Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure provisioning and management. Proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. In-depth understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, especially Docker and Kubernetes. Extensive knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate tasks and create custom solutions. Previous experience integrating and customizing notifications using the Slack API. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes certifications) would be a plus.
