Title : Python Developer (Security & Automation) Location: ALPHARETTA, GA (Local preferred, has to be perfect candidate for manager to consider relocation) Duration: 6+ months, HYBRID SCHEDULE (3 days onsite per week) Exp: 10 years This role is a python developer role with heavy automation, any Java on top of that would only boost desirability but is not necessarily required. What Youll Do: Work with Development, DevOps and Security teams to identify and develop automated security and compliance capabilities in support of DevOps processes Collaborate with a team of engineers to deploy CI/CD security tools including but not limited to SAST, DAST and SCA applications Build and maintain monitoring, auditing, reporting capabilities that produce artifacts in support of compliance needs Develop scripts for various DevSecOps tasks using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Maven, Python and Bash Support security standards, create templates and patterns to increase the efficiency and adoption of security program. These skills will help you succeed in this role: Bachelors degree with 8+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure/environment configuration, automated CI/CD toolsets, source control repositories, container-based technologies Experience working with development teams to implement/promote a DevSecOps program throughout the firm 5+ years software development experience using Java, JavaScript or Python 5+ years of experience in automation using python scripts Experience in deploying and managing security tools in build pipelines Even Better If You Have A self-starter, with a strong desire for learning new technologies and applying them to solve problems Experience with two or more of the application build environments like Jenkins, Gradle, Maven.
