Job Title: SDET Location: Cincinnati, OH (Remote) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Role Job Description: Gentis Solutions is seeking an SDET to join our team. This contract position is with one of our Fortune 50 clients interested in full-time flex/remote consultants. Requirements: Strong automation background and expert knowledge in building frameworks 8+ years of QA experience. Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/Scrum environment Proficient in defect tracking and analyzing root cause utilizing tools (Jira, Rally, etc.) Strong understanding of automation and performance concepts and approaches Understand and utilize risk-based testing technique Experience in test environment and test data management Strong communication and collaboration skills, to challenge the norm 3+ years of experience writing Selenium tests in Java or JavaScript using (Web Driver, Web Driver IO, Marathon, Appium, etc.) 3+ years of experience with test runners (Junit, TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine) 3+ years of experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab) 1+ years of experience with Selenium Grid 1+ years of experience with JMeter 2+ years of working in an Agile/Scrum methodology 1+ years of using Jira for defect tracking 2+ years of using Quality Center/ALM for test case management 3+ years of hands-on, automation testing of integration web services (REST and SOAP protocols) that include database validations using tools like (CA Dev Test, Rest Assured, SOAP UI Pro, Postman, etc.) Demonstrated experience in XML, XSD, XPath, MQTT, Topics, HTTP, HTTPS, JSON, Bytes array message format 3+ years Rest Assured framework experience for automation 3+ years of experience with Build Automation tools like Maven or Gradle or similar 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and validating the DB tables Experience in SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches 3+ Java/JavaScript programming and Selenium. Typical Duties: Own and be accountable for test strategy, test planning, and test execution within their product team Responsible for design and execution of test strategies as part of an Agile scrum team Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability of functional requirements, product designs, and estimating/planning Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design Translate user stories and requirements to test cases Develop and support the testing of product features throughout the entire development cycle Design and build advanced automated testing frameworks Uncovering issues by debugging the application through logs, stack traces and test results and continuous monitoring of systems under test Work closely with development teams to drive root cause analysis and feed that knowledge into automated quality processes effectively Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability Collaborate with engineers in other teams to keep current on the company's latest developments in the area of automation, learn from them and share/propose ideas Advocate for shift-left approach to testing and be the voice of quality Research emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes Regards Vinay Chaudhary Keywords: continuous integration quality analyst user interface database golang California Ohio |
