Must Have:- Position requires 5+ years professional experience developing commercial applications built on Java/Spring/Hibernate with 1+ years of experience using AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 1+ year in a technical lead role with demonstrated experience contributing meaningfully to the design process. Strong preference for development experience on the AWS platform. Currently on Java 11. Experience using and/or developing on a Unix/Linux platform needed. Strong experience with SQL and relational databases essential. Must also be familiar with java application servers such as tomcat, jetty, or glassfish etc., and have a familiarity with build/dependency management system such as maven, Gradle or ivy. Experience building and consuming REST services desired. Knowledge of Spark is needed. Familiarity with another programming language besides Java is a strong plus. Ideally, you are highly motivated, with enterprising instincts, and an ownership mentality; you thrive working with talented teams seeking to achieve superior results; love to learn and apply new technology; and, is comfortable working closely with business stakeholders, user experience designers, and quality assurance. You must embrace evolving requirements and specifications; believe in the value of test automation; and, enjoy solving challenging problems. Excellent communication (written and oral), negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills are required.
