Conceptualize solutions for complex design problems, designing intuitive interfaces that facilitate ease of use and accessibility for end-users. Ensure designs adhere to brand standards, conform to client standards, identify and resolve usability issues, and are in accordance with design best practices for user interactions. Present and articulate design decisions to executive-level stakeholders and peers, while tending to a backlog of design requests from product teams. Assist UX Researchers in conducting product evaluations and collecting user feedback for incorporation into design iteration. Maintain and contribute to Client comprehensive design system with consistent components and visual design language, establishing design guidelines, best practices, and standards across multiple content types. Imagine elegant and thoughtful ways to present data, developing UI standards across all digital channels utilizing user and task analysis and design-thinking methodologies. Prioritize and analyze user research and data-driven insights to inform design decisions. Partner with the development team to ensure creative styles are within technical constraints. Construct quick interactive prototypes that provide a realistic feel of the intended experience, incorporating functionality with effects, animations, and transitions as appropriate. Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the design of digital product experiences using dedicated design tools (Figma) and digital design processes. Experience working with UX architects to define problems and goals, map user flows, and prototype interaction. Then using the findings to develop final pixel-perfect deliverables for implementation in digital products by development teams. Preferred Work Experience: Experience working within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology is preferred. Experience designing for WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), including understanding hierarchy, keyboard focus, color contrast standards, etc. Experience applying user research insights to inform UI designs, including wireframes and high-fidelity prototype modals. Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to work and collaborate in a remote environment with development teams around the world. Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects concurrently. Ability to apply and communicate solid rationale as part of the creative process and always execute to the highest standards. Willingness to push both the team and clients toward innovative design paradigms, Ability to incorporate feedback in real-time, and continually elevate the quality of work. Ability to work effectively as part of a design team and understand the impact of design decisions across a system Ability to translate concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity Ability to give data meaning through information visualization Passion for researching and sourcing valuable, relevant information, inclusive of trends and mood boards Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of user-centered design theory, with emphasis on employing a range of visual and interactive design techniques to build low and high-fidelity prototypes for use in gathering user feedback. Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions when necessary. Strong organization and documentation skills to catalog design elements into a company-wide design system, streamlining methodologies to ensure consistent design language across all digital channels. Proficient knowledge of interactivity, channels, and systematic design principles across responsive design, native mobile design, and other mediums. Knowledge and understanding of principles of Atomic Design, including modularity, nesting, and media independence (a strong plus). Skillful in time management and prioritization. Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate responses. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
