From: Sameer, GSK SOLUTONS INC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Architect (Understands Networking) Location: Nashville, TN Duration: 12 Months+ Note: Hybrid Onsite - Candidate Must be Local **This is a hybrid position - only candidates in middle Tennessee and able to commute to Nashville, TN regularly will be considered.** Days: Monday to Friday Hours/Day: 7.5 Time Zone: CST Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (State of Tennessee Official Standard Office Hours) Pay Rate: $100/hr on C2C all Inclusive Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Architect who specializes in networking to join our team. This is a hybrid/remote position, but candidates must be located in Tennessee and able to commute to Nashville regularly. As an Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will serve as a cloud subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing technical support and architectural guidance to leadership, business partners, and internal teams. Your responsibilities will include defining cloud strategies, understanding networking and IP ports, assessing migration feasibility, and developing migration roadmaps. You will work on diverse projects and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of cloud solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical services that support the most vulnerable citizens in Tennessee. Responsibilities: Define enterprise (Public, Private, and Hybrid) cloud strategies for cloud adoption, application design, and management. Understand networking and IP ports, and architect on-prem to cloud moves. Identify top cloud architecture solutions to meet company's strategic needs. Work on cloud solutions across various projects, including application development, identity/access management, network, and data management. Engage and manage stakeholders, gathering feedback and offering guidance. Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. Identify dependencies and common infrastructure components, assess migration feasibility, and develop migration roadmaps. Provide guidance on techniques for bulk application transfers into the cloud and deployment of Greenfield and Brownfield applications. Demonstrate leadership by backing decisions with research, presenting multiple options with pros and cons, and making recommendations. Effectively manage day-to-day activities across multiple projects. Align strategies with TennCare goals and propose cost-effective, efficient, and maintainable solutions. Foster collaboration with vendors, technical teams, and business customers. Analyze existing practices and technologies to identify areas for improvement or enhancement. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field. 7+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions. Comprehensive experience with at least one of the following: Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP Cloud products, and architecture/delivery of solutions in this space. At least one large migration project experience (can be in-progress). Broad set of technologies knowledge related to applications and IT infrastructure. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to articulate complex cloud reports. Experience with vendor management. Preferred experience working in a healthcare environment. Substitution of experience for education: 15+ years of qualifying professional experience in relevant positions. Desirable Qualifications: Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
