| Position - Data Analytics Report Developer ( Need local, no relocation allowed) Schedule 100% onsite in Boston, Massachusetts Duration - long-term contract Interview process- Phone and video Visa - All visas are workable except for H1, OPT, CPT Experience - 6+ years Note: All candidates must be with Drivers licenses and proof of residency. Candidates must have previous experience with leadership as this role requires them to mentor junior staff. Job Description: As an integral member of our Reporting and Data Analytics team, the Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise reports working with cross-functional teams, you will participate in gathering and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a Report Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test, and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data sources. Responsibilities: Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements. Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, from multiple data sources. Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are followed. Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other team members. Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes. Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision. Required Qualifications: 3+ years experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including: Working with users in a requirements analysis role Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional) Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load) processing Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and other modern reporting tools Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries required. Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required to support working in project environments that includes multiple teams. Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
