Job Title : PLC & HMI Programmer Employment Type : Contract Location : Pineville, LA, US Job Description Mandatory Skills: 5+ Years as PLC & HMI Programmer Programming experience in Packing Line Integration, packing machine, and standalone equipment. Program PLC & HMI software (FTView SE/ME application development, RSLogix/Studio 5000), Experience with Allen-Bradley, and Siemens PLCs. Rockwell / PLC hardware selection and programming knowledge Deep knowledge of FTView SE/ME application development, RSLogix/Studio 5000. Experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk, and Aveva Wonderware HMI software. Experience in VFDs (PowerFlex, ArmorStart), Servo motion control programming, preferable in Rockwell Kinetix 6000 & 5000 Series. Deep knowledge of Add on Instructions (AOIs), Global Object and Faceplate Creation. Experience in upgrading and downgrading of firmware of PLCs, HMIs, and Control Devices. Experience in Vision Systems such as Cognex Insight and Dataman Series Cameras. Independent ability in Start-up, commissioning and troubleshooting activities, Conduct VAT at OEMs location, Installation Qualification (IQ) & Operational Qualification (OQ) Support. Hand on experience with PackML programming standard. Assist with on-site start-up and troubleshoot for the projects. Ability to prepare documentation such as Functional design Specification (FDS). Change Logs, Engineering Information. Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic Ability to read and interpret PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives and P&ID Drawings. An Engineering degree Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation. Entry level knowledge of ABB & KUKA robot programming & troubleshooting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment. Responsibilities: Program PLC & HMI software. Make sure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule & communicate effectively with team members on project status and needs. Complete all programming projects (control logic, HMI screens, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with on-site start-up and troubleshooting for the projects. Assist the Department Manager in the development of programming standards and library functions. Proactively coordinate with project managers, engineers, field technicians, and clients. Coordinate with various vendors and site construction teams for completion of the programming Referrals appreciated and welcomed.
