The general context of UMA is that they are ALL AZURE so this person needs to be as well. Must have: Need to have experience testing Azure Data Factory and Data bricks. If they have Data Governance and MDM testing experience as well that is great. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance testing, particularly in relation to enterprise data. Comprehensive experience in QA methodology, with some demonstrated leadership. Knowledge of testing tools and techniques, including test scripts and regression testing. Passion for quality, attention to detail, and analytical aptitude. Experience in current methodologies for project management and development, such as Agile or DevOps. Experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Experience in Data bricks (or similar), ETL / pipelines / integrations, and APIs. 5+ years working with enterprise data, ideally a combination of work with databases, integrations, reports, files, data analysis. 5+ years of documentation (requirements, specifications, procedures, presentations, diagrams). Strong SQL / database skills and experience. Strong understanding of enterprise systems, application integrations, data integrations, data warehousing / data lakes. Knowledge or experience in Data Governance and MDM (Master Data Management). Knowledge or experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Dashboards, Analytics, and related topics. Ability to quickly learn new software solutions. Knowledge and experience in any of the following is a plus: Databricks, Python, Azure Data Factory, API-based integrations, PowerBI, Azure cloud, ML / AI. Proficiency in professional communication, both verbal and written English. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.). Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment, and to foster a collaborative, positive environment in line with UMA values. Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field. Preferred Requirements: Additional education from minimum requirement . MBA or CPA a plus. Certifications, Licenses . Other relevant skills or abilities. Technical: Writing and executing test scripts, as part of the testing of Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines to ensure code and resulting data conform with requirements; ensuring validity of any transformation logic. Querying of databases (cloud and on-premise) to profile and evaluate data; comparison of source and target data. Evaluation and testing of process orchestration (e.g. sequencing of pipelines / integrations). Introducing aspects of automated testing, where applicable. Exploration and review of potential commercial solutions related to QA testing. Software piloting / evaluation / selection activities. Involvement in CI/CD process. Review of data architecture and data models to understand the technical landscape at different levels (e.g. logical and physical). Evaluation of enterprise data from multiple standpoints, including timeliness, completeness, accuracy, integrity, conformance to standards, and security. Review of Microsoft Purview data catalog (including data lineage) to verify it accurately represents the actual technical assets. Advocacy for best practices in all-things-data. Use of Azure DevOps to support the QA function and the active projects being implemented. Documentation of relevant technical information related to QA testing.
