Data Scientist Engagement Manager Hybrid Location: los Angeles metropolitan area state California( Prefer Local) Duration: 6+ months Must Have Requirements: Education: Bachelors / Masters degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, Computer Science, or other applied mathematical discipline Experience: 6+ years of experience in project management for projects with heavy analytical modelling components; Experience managing projects with a social media component a plus Project Management: Ability to manage projects using SDLC, PMI, and Agile methodologies Core Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and present to senior leadership/executives; excellent people management skills; mindset of own it all the way through solution; Leadership Skills: Enables / demonstrates innovative thinking; Possesses a can do attitude Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Asana, Basecamp, SmartSheets, etc.); Familiarity with Analytics tools (Alteryx, Forecasting tools, etc.) Possesses strong analytical/ logical thinking skills Experience and proficiency in SQL and Python; experience working with unstructured data a plus Responsibilities: Lead client engagements consisting of data analysis and technical development by Working with clients to understand key business challenges and conceptualize and develop an analytics solution Leading proposal and statement of work (SOW) development including defining business objectives, solution approach, scope, deliverables, client responsibilities, staffing roles, pricing, and risk mitigation Managing core delivery teams of Kaizen and non-Kaizen (clients, third parties) resources that possess data science and technology skill sets Managing multiple work streams from acquisition and planning through successful delivery Ensuring requirements are specified in a manner suitable for intended audience and are understandable, unambiguous, and capable of being implemented and tested Engaging with the project team to proactively review deliverables, identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact Addressing problems through excellent decision-making and innovative, strategic ideas Implementing solutions in either client or Kaizen environments Working with technical leadership to ensure technical best practices are followed Facilitating critical communications by interacting with core delivery team members (project domain), development personnel (technical domain) and client Possessing the ability to identify project risks and support risk resolution Participating in and preparing materials for client status and steering committee meetings Playing a key role in client management, leading and mentoring project teams Building client relationship by understanding client business and providing thought leadership around analytical solutions Identifying opportunities to generate revenue and additional engagements Preparing for and participating in monthly internal project reviews Regards, Saloni Chaurasia { Technical Recruiter } TEK Inspirations LLC Pvt.
