Job Title: Service Now Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months Visa: USC and GC Preferred MOI: Skype Job description: Note: The person the client is interviewing has numerous relevant certs, and has over 10 years of experience with Service Now and is a lead with full SDLC experience guiding requirements gathering, making recommendations, architecting, designing, deploying and configuring. They need to be hands-on developers as well. Candidates need to have designed and implemented CMDB and the bullets listed. They have to be strong enough to recommend solutions or recommendations. And I need to be able to understand them so comms is critical. Design and implement the CMDB data model based upon the most current Service Now Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and ITIL best practices. Ensuring the CMDB is fully functional in supporting any processes that rely on it (e.g. core ITSMChange, Incident, Problem, Request; third party integrations leveraging CMDB data). Create and document the processes and procedures used to govern and maintain the CMDB. Must have experience architecting and deploying CMDB. Required: 4+ years of experience implementing all modules of Service Now, preferably in a consultative or lead role in the higher education environment. Knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, Integration Hub Understanding of Service Now architecture, implementation and application build-out best practices Experience with Service Now business development and project delivery Experience with ITSM best practices Experience in working with UI, Workflow and Application development activities; facilitating rollouts of new applications, enhancements and new modules. Client Scripts, UI policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, Business Rules, workflow administration, report setup, and data imports Hands-on expertise using the following tools and applications: JavaScript Glide Script/APIs AJAX (Bootstrap, jQuery, etc.) Flow Designer UI Macros UI Actions Ability to coordinate closely with IT management, and team members ServiceNow certifications preferred Nice to have: Experience integrating API services with scripts/code to create customer facing solutions.
