(Hybrid 2-3 per month) Duration: Long term Interview: Video Only local candidates must send documentation with name/address ( LinkedIn profile is must)Need only 2 profiles for this role I will not be able to submit more profile Need a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer minimum 15+ years of experience candidate with a passion for GCP, Rancher, and extensive banking industry experience, Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience using Rancher. - Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect AND Professional DevOps Engineer certification is required. - Extensive experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Pub/Sub. - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. - Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell, or Bash. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker. - Previous experience working in the banking industry is essential. - Knowledge of AWS services and prior experience with AWS to GCP migrations is a significant advantage. - Familiarity with banking industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present technical solutions. - Must be based in the New York City, New Jersey, or Connecticut area and available for 2-3 days of in-person work in NYC per month.
