Role: Oracle Forms/Report Architect Location: Schenectady, New York Duration: 30 Months Client: NY State Description Consultants are needed to augment state staff with the continuing support and maintenance of several Oracle Forms applications. Upgrades and re-writes of these applications will also occur. In addition, consultants will be responsible for new java application development. Duties Design and create scripts for databases Develop, maintain, and enhance both Oracle Forms and Java applications Application testing Create and maintain documentation Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents Mandatory Requirements Experience (8+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months of experience developing forms using Oracle Forms 11g or higher and developing reports using Oracle Reports 11g or higher. 84 months of experience developing, maintaining and/or enhancing electronic attendance and leave applications for public sector, with a significant 24/7 workforce operation. 60 months of experience working in a Unix environment developing Korn shell scripts. 60 months of experience developing Digital Command Language (DCL) scripts for OpenVMS Systems. 84 months of experience creating, modifying relational database structures and using PL/SQL for writing triggers and procedures for Oracle RDBMS version 11g or higher. 84 months experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI). 60 months experience in server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment, using JDK 1.5 or higher.
