From: Ansar Alam, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Informatica Integrations Architect LOCATION: 100% Remote Duration: 6-12 MONTHS VISA: GC or USC Tech Stack: Informatica Cloud (CDI, CDGC, CDQ, MDM, etc.) SAP ECC (super important to have knowledge of this integrating with vendor, customer, and material domains in master data integrations with SAP ECC) SAP S/4 (future-state, nice-to-have) SFDC Boomi (nice-to-have, former platform being migrated away from) Informatica Integrations Architect: 1. Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT teams to understand business requirements and design high-level data integration solutions that meet those requirements. 2. Architectural Planning: Develop an overall data integration architecture strategy that aligns with the organization's IT and business objectives. This includes selecting appropriate Informatica products and components. 3. Data Modeling: Define data models, data structures, and data flows necessary for effective data integration. This includes both conceptual and physical data modeling. 4. Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend the use of Informatica technologies and tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Cloud) based on project requirements and industry best practices. 5. Performance Optimization: Ensure that data integration solutions are designed for optimal performance, scalability, and efficiency. Conduct performance tuning and optimization as needed. 6. Data Governance: Establish data governance and data quality standards within the data integration architecture to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security. 7. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and internal data security policies. 8. Integration Patterns: Define and implement integration patterns (e.g., batch processing, real-time integration, data replication) based on the specific needs of each data integration project. 9. Technology Integration: Integrate Informatica solutions with other enterprise systems and technologies, such as databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, and APIs. 10. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data integration architecture, including design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications. 11. Vendor Management: If necessary, liaise with Informatica or other technology vendors to ensure that software licenses, support agreements, and updates are in place and aligned with project needs. 12. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Informatica Developers and ETL professionals. Mentor team members on best practices and design principles. 13. Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, define project scope, estimate resource requirements, and ensure that data integration projects are delivered on time and within budget. 14. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate data integration architecture plans, progress, and challenges to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives. 15. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest Informatica and data integration trends and technologies, and advocate for the adoption of best practices and innovations within the organization. 16. Quality Assurance: Implement testing and quality assurance processes to ensure that data integration solutions meet functional and performance requirements. 17.
