Position: Sr. Solutions Architect Location: Remote Duration: Long term contract NEED US CITIZENS ONLY & NEED CANDIDATES FROM OHIO, MICHIGAN, KENTUCKY, ILLINOIS, WISCONSIN AND INDIANA ONLY JOB DESCRIPTION: The ideal candidate for this role has 10+ years of relevant work experience. Typically, part of the solution development team, the solution architect is responsible for translating the requirements created by functional analysts into the architecture for that solution and describing it through the set of architecture and design artifacts. Those artifacts are then used by the rest of the development team to implement the solution. The process of defining architecture by the solution architect often involves selection of the most appropriate technology for the problem being solved. The candidate should feel comfortable with defining and planning work for development teams. The candidate should feel comfortable using Azure DevOps or a similar tool (like Jira) to create work items for the development team. The candidate should have SAFe experience or relevant Agile experience and feel comfortable leading backlog refinement sessions and demoing the work completed by the development team to a larger audience. Azure/.NET background required. Understanding of on-prem applications required. Function apps/logic apps experience is preferred. MUST HAVE: The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative in scoping out work for their development team.
