Advanced knowledge and understanding of various Microsoft and/or Apple hardware and software products, operating systems, and related utilities for the client environment. Ability to research and diagnose complex problems independently and determine root causes. Outstanding customer support, teamwork and communication skills are essential. Takes initiative on a regular basis, seeking to avoid problems proactively, rather than resolving after the fact. Promotes and actively shares knowledge through good communications, peer training, and written documentation. Focused on quality and committed to continual improvement. Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree required. Microsoft certifications desirable. 3-5 years of experience in a Desktop Engineering role including; Windows and/or Apple OS installation, image creation/build, troubleshooting and application packaging. 1+ years SCCM, Power and VMWare experience required.
