Fortify, OWASP, OAUTH, JWT, Security standards Job Description/ Responsibilities: Senior Java Developer with 14+ years experience with detail idea of application design and hands on with coding on Spring boot, Spring REST, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Java 8, Microservices, AWS EC2, Dockers, Fortify, AppScan, Webinspect, SonarType, SonarLint, Jenkins. Identifying solutions and fixes for Vulnerability findings that are captured through Fortify or AppScan or WebInspect for Java based application. Experience in Vulnerability fixes as per OWASP standards. Have knowledge in OAUTH, JWT, Fortify scan, App scan, Webinspect tools. Leading with product-analysis tasks and conducting performance tests. Perform complex product analysis as well as development duties that may include significant research and analysis. Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance of applications Identifying and troubleshooting issues with back end code Providing tech support for clearing bottlenecks and obstacles Making complex technical and design decisions for Java based projects. Developing application codes and unit tests in Spring UNIT/Mockito. Conducting performance tests. Consulting with the design team. He should be able to take the high level design E2E and deliver, not looking for Architect. Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications. Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications. Determining application functions and building objectives with the team. Ensuring that written code falls in line with the project objectives. Problem solving with other team members in the project. Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications. Drafting detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed. Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives. Assisting other developers with troubleshooting, debugging, and coding. Meeting deadlines on fast-paced deliverables. Additional Information: Team size, direct reports, key deliverables, unique selling points, additional qualifications, team culture etc. Degree in computer sciences, coding, or a related field. At least 14 years' experience in Java-based programming. Significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a major plus. Strong proficiency in Fortify scan, Webinspect, AppScan, Vulnerability findings, Security standards such as OWASP, OAuth, JWT, JIRA, BitBucket, Spring f/w. Knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries. Ability to work with other developers and assist junior team members across US (Onshore) and India (offshore) Annotations Different types of annotations used in project, usage, differences. (Ex. Http methods POST/PUT/PATCH, RequestBody/RequestParam/PathVariable etc.). Spring security authentication/authorization, Use of JWT token. Payload encryption/decryption. Given an API contract, He should be able to explain how to create a API.
